North Street Garden

One of the greatest benefits of the North Street garden is also what means it is somewhat under-utilised. As the only private garden within the Deans Court lands, it is a wonderfully calm place. For those lucky enough to discover it, either exploring when on their way to the Bunker, or being in one of the North Street rooms with a view of the garden, it is a fantastic location for a spot of outdoor reading in the sunshine.

Until 2019, it was also shared with the couples and young families accommodated in the buildings between 3 and 11 North Street. The privacy of the garden has also made it a good space for those couples with young children, as evidenced by the toys in the wooden pavilion. With the commencement of the new academic year, however, the couples accommodation has been given over to single rooms, with the residents now part of the Deans Court community.
