Deans Court Traditions

Deans Court has many time honoured traditions that have developed over the years. These form part of the social structure that residents can order their social calendar around, and bring together the community in shared moments of enjoyment and merriment. Many of the most cherished memories from Deans Court are created whilst partaking in these traditions, and each generation of residents takes part in continuing their cycle.

The Crichton Cup

It is, of course, fitting that Deans Court has at least one tradition involving golf, given St Andrews' part in the history of that sport.
The Crichton Cup is played once a year, following the course illustrated in a drawing in the common room. The Cup is named after Admiral Crichton, and has run for over 50 years.
